ICMC
Responding to the needs of migrants, internally displaced people and refugees since 1951, ICMC is a non-governmental organization that protects uprooted people of any faith, ethnicity or nationality.
Working directly with migrants and refugees in more than 40 countries around the world, ICMC aims to be “a voice guided by dignity”, responding to the many challenges of displaced people through its expertise and targeted humanitarian assistance interventions.
At local, national and global political levels, alongside governments, multilateral partners and civil society, ICMC advocates better governance of migration, based on human rights and sustainable solutions.
ICMC is an international commission of the Catholic Bishops’ Conferences and Episcopal Assemblies of similar status, in contact with migrants and refugees in their respective countries or regions.
ICMC was founded in 1951 by the Vatican, and was granted public legal status in 2008.
Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, ICMC has liaison offices in Brussels, Belgium, and Washington D.C., USA, as well as nine field offices around the world in addition to 100 resettlement experts who contribute to the work of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in over 40 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. www.icmc.net
The need: a collaboration solution
Using simple email accounts hosted by a Swiss provider, with an outdated interface, ICMC wanted to migrate to a true collaboration solution with public folders, shared calendars, etc., without having to invest in hardware and licenses.
The solution: the cloud with Office 365 and Exchange Online
Infologo responded to this request by migrating the 180 existing email addresses to Microsoft Exchange Online.
The migration was carried out in several stages, to ensure a gradual ramp-up.

Users at all levels now benefit from a single online directory, accessible from anywhere in the world, shared calendars for all employees, and all with an attractive interface.
