The end of support for Exchange Server 2010 is scheduled for 2020.
Companies will have until mid-October 2020 to migrate to newer software.
Exchange Server 2010 was launched in November 2009.
Exchange 2010 installations will continue to function after October 13, 2020, but due to the changes and potential risks associated with the end of support, we strongly recommend that you migrate from Exchange 2010 to other software as soon as possible.

The choice will be between Exchange 2013, support for which ends on April 11, 2023, and Exchange 2016, support for which ends on October 14, 2025.
Please note: direct upgrades from Exchange Server 2010 to Exchange Server 2019 are not possible.

Hybrid scenario Companies can opt for a hybrid solution, i.e. keep some Exchange functions in-house and run other Exchange functions on Microsoft servers. Migrate to Exchange Online / Office 365 It’s possible to migrate everything to the cloud with Exchange Online, Microsoft’s hosted service accessible with an Office 365 (or Microsoft 365) subscription.
Switching to Exchange Online and Office 365 is an interesting solution, as it frees the company from any future upgrade tasks.
