At Infologo, we like to ask our customers, “Have you ever had your house keys stolen?” In most cases, they answer with a look of surprise that they haven’t…
Whatever the case, what is certain is that on the web, these “keys” (which we’ll call passwords) are regularly stolen, leading to numerous cyberattacks.
In 2021, these attacks have multiplied in Switzerland, which is why we are conducting vigilance campaigns to protect our customers’ IT infrastructures.
As part of our efforts to raise awareness of the importance the importance of multi-factor authenticationauthentication, we’ve decided to play a little game to find out which of our good and bad at Infologo. For context, we maintain a file of our managed customers with M365 accounts. At the end of April 2022, out of the number of M365 boxes we have under management, we find that 85.8% of users are good students because they have correctly activated two-factor authentication.
So we’re on the right track.
However, still almost 15% of mailboxes are at risk because users haven’t activated the double authentication system.
Lack of time, lack of understanding or simple laziness?
Whatever the case, at Infologo we’re still fighting to encourage our customers to activate this easy-to-use protection.
In spite of everything, we are seeing a real collective awareness of the need to prevent the resurgence of cyber-attacks.
To be continued…For those slightly behind the times, here’s a video on double authentication (or multi-factor authentication – MFA).
If you have any questions about multi-factor authentication, or if you’d like to become one of the “good students”, please contact our sales team . advisors.
They will be happy to help you.
