Innovative micro-learning solution for raising team awareness of cyber risks
The main aim of the FFPC Foundation is to contribute financially to the professional and continuing training of people employed by companies in the canton of Geneva.
Context and issues faced by the foundation
At the end of 2021, the Foundation embarked on a comprehensive analysis to check the security of their IT structure through a security audit.
The results were clear: a huge number of security system flaws were present, and represented a potential danger.
These had to be remedied.
Without an IT service provider, the challenge becomes complex, if not impossible.
Without training or awareness, the Foundation’s staff struggled to develop the necessary reflexes to avoid disaster in the event of an IT attack.
The need and desire for training is becoming a priority.
Why choose Infologo?
Yves Chardonnens Cook, Director of the Foundation since October 2021, asked himself the right questions and decided to call on an IT service provider to support them both in managing their IT structure and in training staff in cybersecurity aspects.
It was only natural that Yves Chardonnens Cook should turn to our company, after meeting us during a training session – yet another – on the challenges of artificial intelligence for the Swiss and French-speaking ecosystems.
Solutions provided
To meet their dual challenge of managing their IT infrastructure and training against cyber risks, Infologo quickly became the Foundation’s IT service provider with a managed services contract.
Also, since April 2022, the Foundation has benefited from training to prepare teams for cyber attacks.
This training is provided via an all-in-one platform, Riot Security, for better protection against cybersecurity risks.
Riot offers cyber courses in attractive formats of between 3 and 5 minutes maximum.
Teaching employees the basics of cybersecurity without losing them or boring them – that’s the challenge the platform has set itself.
Results and changes
Since the Foundation’s staff met Albert, the cyber companion who runs the mini courses interactively throughout the year, real reflexes have taken hold.
They say they enjoy learning with Albert, and are now asking themselves real questions. What if I had to do it all over again? Infologo’s services meet the Foundation’s needs and expectations.
According to Yves Chardonnens Cook, there is a real dialogue with the team members, whom he describes as responsive.
Problems are quickly resolved.
As for the implementation of managed services, given that they had no in-house resources, this service completely met their needs.
Mobilizing several people for half a day to deal with login problems, for example, is no longer a problem.
They appreciate being able to rely on a professional service provider instead of them, and being able to focus on their core business in a beneficial way.
Indeed, the Fondation pour la Formation Professionnelle et Continue has set itself the goal of obtaining Cybersafe certification.
