The global public cloud market will reach $31.9 billion in 2017, up from $18.3 billion in 2012, according to Analysys Mason.
In Switzerland, business volume for cloud services will reach $248 million in 2017. 
According to the firm’s forecast, this market will reach $31.9 billion in 2017, including $248 million for Switzerland.
Growth is estimated at 17% per year, with a gradual attenuation over the years.
And here again, Analysys Mason revises this growth outlook downwards, taking into account not only the downturn in the global economic climate, but also the slow adoption of new IT technologies by businesses.
In the case of Switzerland, according to the same firm, companies will be spending less on the public cloud.
In fact, annual growth in the Swiss cloud market is estimated at just 12.35%.
This market was worth $139 million last year, and will only reach $249 million in 2017.
