INSOMNI’HACK 2014 was held in Geneva on March 20 and 21.
For 2 days hundreds of European hackers came together to compete against each other.
This event, which grows in popularity every year, is therefore an opportunity for hackers to have fun and learn more about current practices without censorship, but the event is also dedicated to the various aspects of computer security.

Indeed, the show highlighted new services and professions in the IT security field, including ethical hackers.

What is an ethical hacker?

hackerThe ethical hacker is the “nice hacker” of the Web.
He or she is recruited by a company to test the flaws in its IT security system, using the same methods as malicious hackers.

In the wake of recent revelations about the security of international computer data, and the emergence of connected objects that are susceptible to hacking, companies are showing a growing interest and awareness of the risks involved in disclosing or losing their data, but also in preserving their customers’ data.

Today, these anti-hackers even have their own school in France.
The University of Valenciennes now trains young people in hacking techniques, giving them the tools they need to combat malicious hackers.
An avant-garde diploma that sees 100% of its graduates quickly find work!
